Camp Rapid Lodging

Army Lodging at Camp Rapid is centrally located in the Black Hills with 32 semi-private and two private rooms. The private rooms offer two rooms, a bedroom and a setting room with a fold out sofa-sleeper. Each room has cable television and Wi-Fi.

Camp Rapid also offers Distinguished Visitors Quarters, available to all E9's, CW5's, O6 and above and to both state and out-of-state dignitaries. DVQ rooms have a kitchen, which includes a microwave, fridge and sink, dining table and a seating area to accompany a spacious bed/bath.

Hundreds of Black Hills area tourist attractions, including Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse, are located within a short drive from the Army Lodging at Camp Rapid.

Camp Rapid Coyote Inn Army Lodging offers free laundry located in both Building 370 and Building 380. Ice Machines are located in in Buildings  360, 370, & 380. 

 

Camp Rapid Two Room Suites

Private rooms offer two rooms, a bedroom with king size bed and a setting room with a queen size fold out sofa-sleeper. The rooms have a small refrigerator, cable TV, WiFi, and coffee maker. All rooms have linen and Housekeeping is provided.

Camp Rapid Coyote Inn only has two suites to offer.

Room Rates:
Non-Official Use $38.00 per night.
Official Use W/Orders  $31.00 per night.

Camp Rapid Semi-Private Rooms

Semi-Private rooms share a bathroom that is between two rooms. The room have a Small Refrigerator, Cable TV, & WiFi. All rooms have linen and Housekeeping is provided.

Room Rates:
Non-Official Use $37.00 per night.
Official Use W/Orders  $30.00 per night.

Fitness Center

Camp Rapid fitness center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The fitness center offers both Cardio and Weight training with top of the art equipment.

The fitness center is accessed by proxy or CAC card. To gain access, you need to report to security in building 201 and fill out a waiver. This would be submitted and access should be placed on your Proxy and or CAC. Please allow 2-3 business days to take effect.

The fitness center is offered to active military, military reserve, retired military, State employees working for the National Guard and qualifying family members.

The fitness room is 100% I.D check
