The Employment Support Program's program support specialist operates as a point of contact and coordinator for employment and education opportunities to help facilitate reduction in the number of un-employed and under-employed National Guard service members, veterans and family members.

They also coordinate with the adjutants general and liaison with the state committee chair for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve on employment options and opportunities available to National Guard service members, veterans and families, though government, private sector and state employment partnerships.
